Information

Safeside can only be booked by recognised organisations for one of the programmes detailed on this page. We are not 'open to the public' but target our interventions on key groups. Take a look at our slideshow, and then scroll down for brief details for each scheme.

Safestart - for the parents and carers of pre-school and foundation stage children. Visits would usually be organised by a school, nursery, parent group or Children's Centre (£6 adults, £2 children, or £8.50/£2.50 out of area), week days, week nights, weekends and school holidays

Junior Citizen - for Year 5 or 6 pupils in Key Stage 2 (£5 per child, or £7.50 out of area), during school hours only

Life Skills - designed for Year 8 pupils in Key Stage 3 but also suitable for Years 7 or 9 (£5 per child, or £7.50 out of area), during school hours only

N-GAGE- interactive lifeskills education for 11-14 youth groups during evenings, weekends and school holidays (£7 per young person)

Special Needs - we offer adapted programmes for special user groups such as hearing or sight impaired and special educational needs of all ages at various times convenient to you (£5 per visitor, or £7.50 out of area)

We also offer meeting and conference facilities to partner agencies working in education and community safety.
