N-GAGE is the latest programme from Safeside, the experiential safety and citizenship education centre from West Midlands Fire Service. N-GAGE is an interactive lifeskills programme for youth groups and is suitable for young people from 11-14 years (school years 7-9 at Key Stage 3).
Following a brief introduction, visitors are split into small groups and led by a trained Presenter around 10 different interactive scenarios in our realistic safety village. These include: -
Other themes such as environmental responsibility and what to do in an emergency are interwoven throughout the tour. An interactive quiz concludes the visit.

There is a charge of £7 per young person. Accompanying staff are free up to a ratio of 1:6. For school groups during school hours, we can offer the visit at only £5 per pupil.
