Handsworth’s Red Hot Education Station has been revamped, improved and rebranded as ‘Safeside at Handsworth’ during the Autumn of 2012. The new centre builds on a reputation for effective fire safety education by adding new scenarios covering road, water, home and personal safety. These new areas will allow more comprehensive coverage of the PSHE curriculum at Key Stage 2. A new programme for Years 3 and 4 is being launched in 2013.
