We are attached to a working fire station and have our own home safety scenarios. So this is the place to be if you are wanting to focus on fire safety, road safety and the work of the fire service.
We are offering a number of new schemes at Handsworth. Fire Crew has versions for Key Stages 2 and 3. It's an exciting and practical 2 hour session looking at the work of the fire service. Bright Sparks is for the under fives and includes a look at the fire station.
In partnership with Youth Services we can now also offer Fire Call - Hoax Call which looks at the consequences of prank calls, Fire Safety Aware, which is a more in depth look at home fire safety and the chemistry of fire, and CSI Crime Scene Investigation which looks at the consequences of arson.

Meeting and training facilities
As a community fire station we also offer meeting and training facilities at a reduced rate for local groups.
"The approach from Andrew and Mo was of the highest standard allowing for a smooth and trouble free visit. It was particularly pleasing the way that Andrew and Mo interacted with the young people, engaging them at all times at the appropriate level and blending with their personal experiences including humour to maintain maximum interest at all times" - Robert Radford, Skillsforce
We look forward to meeting you soon! You can find out where we are here.
